Acrobat XI Pro on a M/S Surface Pro 6

I am currently using Acrobat XI Pro on my laptop and desk top PCs.  Just bought a M/S Surface Pro 6.  How do I get my Acrobat Xi to install on that system?  No disk drive comes with the system, so I bought an external CD/DVD drive.  I use my installation disk and it accepts my S/N ID and does the installation and then validates the system just before it halts with an error that says ERROR 1935 an error occurred during the installation of assembly component.  (98CB24AD-52FB-DB5F-A01F-C833B9A1E18E) HRESULT: 0X80078002.  What is happening?  How can I get my Acrobat program loaded on the Surface Pro 6?  Has anyone else put Acrobat on a Surface Pro?

Problem resolved.  Started to follow suggestions by 02GEEK but noticed I was behind in several Win 10 Updates.  Not sure why as my Surface system is only a few weeks old, but decided to do the updates first and when done the 1935 problem went away???  I know some of the updates had to do with C++ software, but really not sure what fixed the condition.  However really appreciate the help offered.
