Adobe Acroba Pro 2020 Crashes attempting to delete pages from file

Hello,

Windows 11 Machine, PDF file is being accessed on a workstation but is saved on a server. Is secured and requires password to edit. I have rebooted, ran a repair, done a full reinstall, turned off accessability assistive support in preferences and Protected View is turned off. But, as the title says, I cannot delete pages from the file or any file for that matter as it freezes until I force it to close. Was working fine until yesterday. Any other suggestions would help. I have run through all the solutions here, except for the 5th step, as I NEED to user this windows account.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that. As described you are unable to delete pages from the PDF file as the application freezes.

Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive please download it to your computer locally and then try to delete the pages and check.

Also make sure you have the recent version of the application installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Win or enable the root account in mac and try using the application there and check.

Regards

Amal

It's just with these two PDFs. Whenever I try to do anything, I get the following message:

The system cannot find the path specified.

Hi @Daniel38622247ejsa,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble, and the delayed response.

We released a new update with multiple bug fixes (20.005.30748).

Would you mind updating the app and letting us know if the experience improved?
