Intertrust has released an updated version of its Doc Box plugin for Adobe Acrobat 5.0 and Acrobat Reader 5.0.

Users that require the Intertrust digital rights management system in order to open secure pdf files are encouraged to download the new plugin. This new plugin also fixes problems for people who had system or debugger conflicts with the Doc Box plugin.

NOTE: This update is not supported on Windows 95. If you are using Windows 95 and are having issues with DocBox.api, simply remove any and all instances of this plugin. You can find the plugin by doing a search for "docbox.api" on your system.

How can you threaten them if they don't read anything in the first place?

What you need to do is require either an IQ test or a urine test before allowing them into the forums.

Unfortunately, California Law doesn't allow both tests on the same person, which explains the quality and capabilities of the employees at McDonlad's.

    Sonic,

A severe reaming sounds a tad excessive, but maybe that's the answer. You think people will read before posting if threatened with excruciating pain?

    >When I click on the details it gives me nothing readable.

Look for the name of a module. Post the name here. And if the module says "docbox" ... I advise against posting here (because you will be severly reamed), but instead reading the answers in this thread.

I have windows95. I just installed the adobe acrobat reader. I can not get into the program becuase everytime I start to a box comes up and says
On the top of the box it says "Acrord32"
In the box it says "This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down."
When I click on the details it gives me nothing readable.
I followed the instructions given by chris but I still have the same problem.
I would really appreciate some help.

    Toni,

Thank YOU for actually reading the associated postings rather than just jumping in and screaming about a docbox error. It is refreshing to find someone who can read!

Thanks to all who have gone before in the "Invalid Page Fault DOCBOX.API Quest!" I can now run Acrobat 5.0 on my 6-year-old Win95 machine. You guys (and gals) are great!

No, just tonnes of people who can write but not read, kinda like Elbonians in a Dilbert cartoon . . . hehehehe.

    Cheers and grins to all!
