Help needed: Trying to get text flow from one text box to a second page when first is full

I am creating a fillable memo and have a text box on page one, and on page two. I would like to have it set so that if the memo is long enough to fill the text box on page one, instead of shrinking text size, it flows to the second page. Help?

There is an example of how to do this in the Acrobat JavaScript Reference:

However, as Try67 suggests, there are problems with this approach, one of them is that the last character typed, the overflow character, is lost.

This is very tricky to do in a PDF form. I would advise against trying to do it.
