How do I change the direction of the Tab button in a filliable PDF document?

I created a fillable, multi line document to request credit card purchases for my company. The multiple lines have four fields each. When I use the tab button the field that becomes active next is on the next line below. How do I change the direction to of the tab to go to the next field on the same line?

Go to Form Edit (or Prepare) mode and set the order of the field in the Fields List to Tab Order. Then you would be able to drag them up and down the list to change their tab order. There's a bug in Acrobat, though, so you should do them one at a time only. If you select a group of fields and move them all together their internal order will be reversed when you drop them in the new location.

"Tab order" is what you are trying to change. You can change the direction with Shift + Tab.

You can change the tab order. Details are in the help of your Adobe Acrobat version.
