Question

How to open a file from the Recent files on the home page

With no PDF open, just looking at the recent files on the home page, how do you open them?  I can open one by double clicking it... but if I single click, I get the tick to show the file is selected, but there is no on-screen link to open it.  If I select two files then a link appears on the RHS of the screen that is "open".  So I can click this to open two files.  But why can't I do this for a single file?
It's not really a problem - just not intuitive.  Or am I being thick and missing something?

Hi,

Sorry for the inconvenience here.

Opening file via double click and showing various operations that can be performed on file via single click is a design behavior. 'Open' in multi selection is required to open multiple files at once from recent file list, which is otherwise not possible in one click.

Will share your feedback with design team about having Open in single file selection as well.

Thanks,

Charu Karwa

"If I select two files then a link appears on the RHS of the screen that is "open". "

Can you post a screenshot of this?

OK - here's the page with a single file selected.

And here's the same page with two files selected - and in the top right there is a button for open.  But nothing like that when only one is selected.  Is this right?  It seems odd and inconsistent.

And whilst we're at it, how do I delete a file from the starred list?  There is no "remove from starred list" button either.

Thanks

I can see only this:

"how do I delete a file from the starred list?  "

Mouse click again on the star.
