How to sign on stamp

I have received a pdf document (not a fillable form) with a stamp. I am supposed to sign on the stamp using sign and fill but was unable to do so. When I try to paste the signature on the stamp, it did not display. Please advise.

Then your options are limited. Comments were not meant to be stacked one on top of another, and whoever set it up did not make things easy for you... Try signing elsewhere on the page and then dragging the signature to the stamp. That might work.

The pdf is created from the sender using Adobe Acrobat Pro. I am trying to sign using Adobe Reader DC.

Thanks for your reply. You are right that comments cannot be overlayed over another. Use the workaround to Microsoft print to pdf and then signed on the new pdf copy.
