I can no longer view an Acrobat Pro ver 2023.006.20360 artwork file without continuous flashing

Everytime I open a file it starts flashing in segmented view. If it doesn't start flashing as soon as it opens, it starts as soon as I try to zoom or open print production.  I can't click on anything to make it stop except to force quit. This has been going on for 2 weeks. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and reverting back to old view. Nothing seems to solve this issue. Any ideas? This software is critical to my job, I've used it for 10+ years and have never experienced anything like this.
