Lagging Program PDF

Is anyone else experiencing extreme lagging when trying to open the PDF program?

I am either closing everything down in order to reopen the program or forced to wait for the program. Even clicking a PDF file, the program will not open. Even tried to open task manager to force close anything open from Adobe.

Any suggestions?

PDFs (Portable Document Format) are typically made with Adobe Acrobat Pro. The free Acrobat Reader can be used to view PDFs. Please clarify what you mean by "PDF program".
