Office 365 save as Adobe PDF but pages end up different sizes

I have need to create a pdf from a combination of office 365 documents.

  1. In MS Word I have set up the page to be A4 size and using the save as adobe pdf to convert it to a pdf. Thats fine.
  2. In MS Excel I have set up the page to be A4 size and use the save as adobe pdf to covert 2 worksheets to pdf, thats also fine.

When I combine the 2 pdfs into 1 single document you can see a difference in the size of the pages from Word and the pages from excel even though both are A4. What could the issue be?

Thanks

Michael

Sometimes, it's those sneaky defaults causing the chaos! Also, you can use Office 365 cloud backup to streamline your work. I hope that helps!

I've been there! One trick I picked up is checking the print settings in Word and Excel. Make sure they match exactly, including margins.

Have you checked the page sizes?

The document properties of the pdf says page size of 8.27x11.69in which I'm assuming is A4. There were more source pages in Word doc than the excel docs so would have gone back to the drawing board if the word material wasn't looking right.

You can check the page sizes at the print preview.
