Question

Overlapping text

Some times when people fill in a form, it looks normal on screen but when I print it out the sections they have filled in are 'blurred' where the text seems to be written twice and slighly overlapped. An error box comes up saying to get in touch with the person who made the form, that would be me but I don't how to sort the problem .

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check.

Also share the screenshot of the error message for more clarity.

Please try to print the PDF as image, open the PDF > Go to Print > Advanced > Print as Image and see if that works.

Also, check for any pending/missing updated for printer driver and firmware and try updating it. Please check the help page https://adobe.ly/3yQhcSP and see if that works.

Hi, Thank you for replying. The error is on the PDF form I create from Microsoft word but it doens't happen all the time but also lately when I create a form other boxes come up about gaining permission and on one PDF when I print it out most of the text is missing.

Hi there

What happens when you grant the file access as shown in the screesnhot you have shared?

Would you mind sharing the PDF form in question so we can check it at our end?

Also, try to create  the PDF form as described here https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/creating-distributing-pdf-forms.html#creating_and_distributing_pdf_forms and see if that works.
