Thank you for sharing this, and we understand the frustration; losing a one-click habit you relied on changes how a document actually gets navigated, not just where a button sits.

To confirm what's actually available, Previous View and Next View haven't been removed:

• Mac: Acrobat > View > Page Navigation > Previous view / Next view, or the shortcut ⌘← / ⌘→ (grayed out until you've navigated somewhere in the session)

• Windows: Menu > View > Page navigation > Previous view / Next view, or the shortcut Alt+← / Alt+→

If you'd like a one-click button instead of the menu or shortcut, switching to the classic interface brings this back as a visible toolbar button:

• Menu > Disable new Acrobat (Windows) or View > Disable new Acrobat (macOS), then restart Acrobat.

• From there, right-click the toolbar, or go to View > Show/Hide > Toolbar Items > Page Navigation, and enable Previous View and Next View. They'll appear as clickable icons right in the toolbar, next to your page controls.

If you have an extended keyboard, the shortcuts are not that hard to remember. But I did like the old option of adding them to the top menu, especially the Previous and Next views.
