Unable to select/highlight PDF text from Outlook preview plane

Hello,

I use to be able to click/open PDF documents to preview them in the Outlook preview plane, and then be able to highlight/select/copy text from the PDF file while still in the preview plane.

Recently Adobe Acrobat Reader DC was re-installed - and I am no longer able to highlight/select/copy text without fully opening the file.

Did I perhaps have an older version of Acrobat Reader DC, or is there some type of add-in that I need? Is it on Outlook's side?
