I tried to delete 3 extra CC licenses from my account. It took me about 20 mins to do this. First of all, I can't believe you can't just add/delete subscriptions once your account is up and running. 2nd of all, now I understand why it's not setup this way. Adobe tries to strong arm you into keeping unnecessary subscriptions and they don't want to lose that revenue at all costs it seems. My small publishing company is still using CS5.5. Now we can't update to Catalina until we dive into Creative Cloud and Adobe dips into my pocket every month. For the life of me, I can't find a good reason to update to Creative Cloud. The only improvements from 5.5 I can see are just bells and whistles. Can someone please offer something real to justify this cost?

I talked Adobe up for years, as one of the most consumer-friendly software purveyors. A company with integrity, I said. Now... comes the awakening. Over the years, I have purchased Photoshop 3, 4, 5, and 6, Design Premium CS3, Lightroom 2.6, 3.2, and 4, and Dreamweaver 8.0. The money I spent is a drop in the ocean to Adobe, but it wasn't easy cash for me. I still have original installation disks for CS3, Lightroom 4, and Dreamweaver 8. EXACTLY ONE IS STILL WORKING. Are you coming for Lightroom next? My CS3 quit a few days ago, despite having been set up for "Never Register".I have followed the directions, repeatedly, for every activation solution I can find in Adobe Support and Community.I've spent over 3 days, trying to solve the problem. I'm sure nobody at Adobe cares about problems without $$, so I can't get human help. I would happily pay a support fee... I know nobody will respond to this. Just had to get it said.  

WOW, Adobe changed everything. My heads spining and I'm totally lost. Am I in what use to be the Lounge part of the forums I honestly can't tell? What the heck happened. I'm kind of in shock and confused. Help me find my way back?

I recently posted a question on the Adobe Photoshop Elements Forum and received a private forum message copied below. I sent an e mail to Adobecare@mail2expert.com and received a reply asking for my Adobe ID  and password. This is obviously a phishing scam. Just though I would warn everyone. About three weeks ago, I got a message on Linkedln from Catherine Halcewicz, University Talent Scout at Adobe saying that she thinks I will be a great fit for the Solution Delivery Role at Adobe. She said the team will be at Arizona State University on October 1st (yesterday) and will be conducting interviews today at the ASU campus. I registered my information in the system so they will notify me where the information session and the interviews will be held. I messaged her back on Linkedln and she did not message me back. Hey I am sure this has been discussed many times. Im just looking for a checklist or instructions of how to get customers the presets delivered after they have made a purchase at my store. Is there an easy way to do that?   Any experienced people who have done this already? And before you respond, THANK YOU!! 

I work in a UK school teaching students from 11-16 years.  We very much wanted to teach them how to use products that are being used in the workplace so purchased the Adobe suite.It has been really frustrating over the years to see Educational pricing increase and with the recent advice that device licencing is becoming end of life at the end of this year, I'm sure pricing will increase more.Currently we pay £5000 to teach students how to use Adobe software.  We do not gain financially from using the software, we are not a business.  I find it appalling that Adobe charges us so much; in my opinion software for schools should be free, not restricted by budgets.This year we have decided that the cost is too much, so we will not be renewing our Adobe licence.  I now have to tell our Graphics, Media and IT departments that they will have to find new (cheaper) software, learn how to use it and then teach their students.It would be nice to hear from Adobe as to how they j

So I was able to visit the Adobe area at dmexco! Hey all, so I'm using an octree to raytrace meshes at the moment and it's working out nicely, but now I'm wondering how to apply it to skinned meshes.Does it make sense to store the octree structure for every frame on disk, or possibly just compressed deltas? I'm thinking that could add up.I'm hoping I don't have to generate it in realtime, it may be possible but that would take up some valuable compute time per frame.Are there any techniques people here use or have heard about that could work?

1. Do you use a new memory card for each new video? Can be expensive, and even new ones fail if they aren't tested first. Had it happen.2. Or, do you use a new card after 2 or how many uses?Just would like to know what people's consensus is.

Doing tutorials on advance ( so called ) color stuff using resolve. Only have cs6 creative suite ( speedgrade in those days ). Will never 'subscribe' or have edit computer hooked up to internet ( win 10 alone is reason enough not to do that , let alone adobe ).The more I do and get better at color stuff the more I am losing patience with simple PPro poster problems and the answers being supplied.For one thing I can't help much cause I don't have the new version(s). So I'm limited to basic edit and color questions without regard to platform or 'tools' ( avid, resolve, fcp, adobe, etc. ).  So I can't contribute much to begin with.
