I like the idea of putting my own media asset creations into a public media assets library with licensing control. Adobe is working on this idea. I just wonder if there will be a PayPal type ecommerce interface so that as soon as licence fees are paid, the asset is then made available for downloading. It seems there are two types of libraries at present. One for this purpose and one for storing your creations in the cloud for your own reuse across different applications and sharing with invited audiences. I can see the two merging as time rolls on and Adobe being there near the forefront...I do like to share my creations, but I also like to earn something for my hard work!
Hey all-I was taught the very old school way... I track job numbers in a Word doc, and use a basic spreadsheet for record keeping, and use a Word temp for invoicing. Now that I have a larger volume of work, this is no longer feasible. Other than QuickBooks, what are some of the apps you designers use for such?Possible that Adobe may create something like this for the CC?Just curious to hear everyone's thoughts and insight on what recording keeping app you utilize.Cheers!Lesley Quesada

Hi, Everyone -As I get to know our community leaders more and more, I am in absolute awe of the inspiring and impactful content that they are regularly sharing with their social networks. In this age of information overload, however, you have to be super selective of what info you let through to have a fighting chance at staying plugged in without completely drowning. What are all of you tapping into regularly that you want to make the rest of us aware of? Since people are often reluctant to self-promote, here's an opportunity to shine a light on one another's work if you'd like. For my part, I'm adding the following two sites to the ones I plan to visit regularly:1. http://photofocus.com/ published by the indomitable Rich Harrington, one of our illustrious Adobe Community Professional (ACP)2. http://graphicssoft.about.com/ that our ACP and highly sought after graphics software expert, Tom Green, has a column inPlease jump in and add to the list so that our end product is a highly curat

I have found Foundation 6 in my research on using sass. If Adobe had did any research it seems to me I would think that they would have had their eye on adding preprocessors and Scss functionality. One would then assume that Foundation would be the smart choice. After finding Foundation it kinda makes me mad that I spent all this time trying to figure an overcomplicated totally bloated framework that is supported by Adobe. I mean I trusted them to guide me in the right direction of what the real Dev community is using. Obviously I am just learning all this but after learning just enough to be dangerous but not enough to do anything with it I find it hard to believe that Adobe wouldn't have a few more options for frameworks. DW is really aimed at beginners no? Why use the most complicated framework or not have an option for an easier one to start with and then also have a Bootstrap option!

Hey everyone,So Be In Everything or Bie for short is an entertainment environment where we'll be able to create content within it's own 3d virtual space. From film & music videos to gaming & entertainment as a whole. It's just the beginning now and I'm proud to say the brand is off to a good start. I'm looking for like-minded potential friends & creative individuals and business minded who'd like to have a personal residual income from the brand in return of helping build the brand to what it's meant to be.At the moment I know it needs people who work with Adobe Fuse, Unreal Engine. There's a lot more I could put here but seen as though this is an Adobe community I'll keep to the creative sides of things.Because I'm also doing this as an owner of the brand it will be residual income once the brand takes off and we've a team or a few people who enjoy contributing.I've come to the agreement that what I want to do is have a select few or several who come on board and in return
In your creative pursuits, have you ever had to choose between the safe and inspiring path? The sure thing that would put food on the table vs the endeavor that was sure to make your heart sing? What steps did you take to make that decision and how did your story unfold? I draw a lot of strength and courage from hearing what others have gone through and would really love it if you would please share your stories here. Thanks very much,Rani
