I'm using Creative Suite CS5 on Mac OS X 10.9.4, and my Adobe programs are not displaying all my installed fonts. How do I get them back?
(This is my first post in these forums, so apologies if this topic is not appropriate.)I've written a pile of Java utility code to generate PDFs with subsetted TrueType fonts using a CID-keyed font. (I know: there are multiple frameworks that do this type of thing. But I'm a hobbyist tinkerer who enjoys building things, and I'm enjoying learning how these technology stacks hang together.)My code creates a font descriptor with a /FontFile2 reference to my TrueType font program output stream. The subsetted font always has the .notdef glyph at glyphIndex 0, with subsetted glyphs thereafter as they are first referenced. I'm using an identity mapping of CID==GlyphID. (I've been reading the various specs... the ISO PDF 1.7 reference, TrueType and OpenType specs at Microsoft and Apple, and several Adobe Tech Notes on various font and CMap technologies.)All this seems to work. However I'd like to also explore OpenType fonts with glyphs in a 'CFF ' table (CIDFontType0 instead of my CIDFontType2)

I have a Typekit set up for website embedding and it works great in desktop/laptop browsers. However, mobile browsers won't display the Adobe font, and default to standard sans-serif. In the kit settings I've checked "enable" on all mobile options, but still no luck.Anyone else have this problem?
Hi.I'm having a lot of trouble with desktop synced Typekit fonts; Creative Cloud constantly looses some of the fonts I have synced. When I'm online, this is not a problem, but offline it is - I cannot sync the fonts again and so every workfile I have with synced fonts is totally un-editable until I'm back online. And this was also fine, but today Creative Cloud lost ALL my synced fonts, and told me that font is already added although Photoshop and all the other programs said it is not available. Same when I tried to add via Typekit; says that font is already added, and only option is to remove font. I could get the font back by first removing and then adding again with Typekit, but is not possible to do this with all fonts; I cannot remember every single font and style I have used by heart, only way knowing what is missing is to go thru all the files where I've used Typekit synced fonts.Any suggestions how to solve this? This is harming my work a lot since there are several website pro

My Mac has Adobe Garamond Pro installed on it as part of the OS, I assume. So I purchased that. But can I use it for business purposes? Like on flyers or on my website?I am aware some of the EULA's were changed recently and perhaps that may affect things... I got my Mac in 2010 with the font installed and upgraded to Mavericks this year (2014) and the font is still installed.
