[BUG in Forum] Translation module cannot translate

In my opinion, the best thing to do in these situations is to quote the English translation (I use Insert code for this). If this is done, it's OK to edit the title. This not only makes the thread easier to understand, but also saves everyone else from having to do the translation.

The title doesn't even have to be in English, like this post, where the title is "LR", and the rest in Spanish.

There are also some moderators (Adobe support staff, I believe) who change titles in foreign languages to English, making the whole post untranslateable, like here:

Thanks for submitting this - we have an open bug with posts that have titles in English not being translated even when the body is not in English.

Moved to Community feedback.

Had the same issue. It seems to be related to the Title being in English.
