So, as part of my blackhole hosts file that automatically blocks ad & site tracking, I figured out that stats.adobe.com is linked to 127.0.0.1 in my /etc/hosts file.Is anyone in Adobe tech support aware that this breaks your entire forums site for both Chrome and Safari?The two urls that kill all ability to click a link on the forums.adobe.com website are:stats.adobe.com/b/ss/mxmacromedia/1/H.15.1/s81639209431596stats.adobe.com/b/ss/mxchlprod/1/H.25T/s84986080005764They appear to try and report back everything they possibly can about the browser, including what plugins, user screen size, browser window screen size, etc.Apparently the FireFox javascript engine is a bit more flexible in how it deals with these URLs being broken, but this is really annoying and you guys might want to fix it.
How can I convert an iWeb site to a Dreamweaver site?
I have been trying to get customer service to correct my address country from the US to Canada... for 3 days now! But to no avail so far. No way to do this online or via email. I am writing this while I have been put on hold for the FOURTH time now! It is STILL not clear if they will be able to help me and do this at their end.In the meantime, I am unable to upgrade my Lightroom version.Great products, terrible service. My Adobe ID is my email address, but I would like to have the forum notifications go to a different email address... is that possible?For example, my Adobe ID is "myname@myisp.com".But I would like to have forum email notifications go to "forumstuff@myisp.com".
Hello, thx for any help I can receive.I know that my computer I use for my video editing of my CS5 isn't robust enough for this new digital camera. I know Adobe are supposed to industry leaders in software, but their customer service is among the worst I have ever encountered.All I am trying to do is have someone tell me why my order was cancelled, why no one told me it was cancelled and why when I tried to place the same order the price had gone up by £200. I have tried four customer live chats - two didn't understand what I was trying to ask, the other two seemed to get it but didn't do anything/ 'weren't able to help' because they worked for the wrong department and couldn't tell me which department might help.I have tried emailing customer services. I've recently been through 6 techs regarding not being able to activate my CS6 purchased program. Long story short, no one could help me, I had tried all of the various methods. An error window kept coming up saying I was off-line, and/or my clock was wrong. Neither of these were true. When I tried activation Off-Line, Adobe kept telling me I had the Serial No. wrong (not true). I was so frustrated I was ready to scream, and then last night as I was yet again sifting through the Adobe site I ran across a line that said my CS6 would activate when Adobe sensed that I had gone online--which made me remember that some websites work better in a different browser. I had been using Google Chrome on my new Windows 8 computer. Here's what finally made the activation window pop up: I closed Chrome, opened Photoshop, then launched Internet Explorer...the error window started to pop up then changed to the sign-in window for activation!!! My institute uses a proxy server and so I am unable to log in to the Adobe Forums. I recieve the following error :"It appears that your account login has been banned. For the last couple of weeks the format of (some of) the emails I'm receiving from the forums has changed, to the worse.They now contain a huge and unnecessary black bar at the top:Also, because the title of the email contains "Re: " before the name of the thread they no longer become a part of the original email thread, causing my (Gmail) inbox to be filled with messages and making it harder to follow the threads...Please, reverse this change. It is annoying and cumbersome.
I'm seeing a number of comments about the typography of the new forum skin looking wrong (text being cropped, overprinting other text, etc.) and in general it's down to two things:Clear your browser cache to remove any CSS files from the old skinYou are blocking the use of Web fonts (either in your browser configuration or firewall software)Sorry and all, but the new forums are styled to work only if the downloadable Web font "Adobe Clean" is activated. In the CSS for the new skin we have some @11220649-face declarations that try to load this font from the Adobe server, and the fallback is to use your default sans-serif typeface (Arial etc.). Adobe Clean is a narrow width font, so if it's not used the text becomes too wide for the style sheet:So if the forums look like the image above left, you're OK. When I click on My Information, the page loads half way and goes to broken link screen. I registered on another account (this) and it is working fine. It only happens to the account I used primarily. Also when I tried to use the forum on the previous account, I got stuck in the Screen Name. I pressed confirm and unable to proceed.
I want to create an interactive cube 10''x10"x10" that I can export to dreamwaver and put it on a website and the viewers can interact with it (move it around freely). I also want to have text on each side of the cube which moves with the cube and also want it to be able to zoom in and out. This is a school project and my school has the adobe master collection so software is not a issue and my schol also has all of the autodesk products and i have the student versions of autodesk. I only have a timefram of a week and I dont know anything about programing, but I can follow a video or directions, please help? I also want to create an inside version of cube (so it looks like you are in a cube and loking at the sides) and want that with text and be able to interact to. Please Help?
Subject: Single Picture is getting blacked out when pdf document is upload to a websiteWindows 7 , x64 computers, Acrobat XWe have several copies of Acrobat, essentially what happens is the user combines two adobe documents, and then she/he uploads them to a website. Before the user uploads the PDF, the picture is not blacked out. After the user sends the document to the website, the picutre in question is a black square. The document is around 200-300 pages long and there are many pictures on it, but it is this one picture in question that is getting "blacked out"The reason this is a problem is because we're a mortgage company, and that Picture needs to be on the document otherwise we get penalized by our investors.

Just discovered this. I upgraded to Firefox 19 yesterday. I'm only running the NoScript, DownloadHelper, and Firebug plugins. If I pull up a Adobe help page such as:http://help.adobe.com/en_US/FlashPlatform/reference/actionscript/3/flash/display/DisplayObject.html#event:addedToStagethen it will start causing Firefox to experience horrible lag. I know this because if I have Pandora running in another tab the music will start breaking up until I close the tab with the Adobe help page. NoScript is set to allow Adobe.com and this has never happened in previous versions of Firefox - the tabs used to coexist with no problems.
Ordered my product onlinen through Adobe's website, paid for it via Paypal and then Adobe sends me an order cancellation an hour after Paypal submits payment. I did not authorize an order cancellation and no reason was offered as to why my order was cancelled. Called Paypal and they did not receive an order cancellation so they cannot request a refund for my payment. Called Adobe customer service, sales, and billing....no one there seems to be able to locate my order even though I have a copy of my order number. Billing has accused Paypal of submitting an unauthorized payment and says Adobe cannot keep the payment or apply it to a non-existent order and that Adobe cannot send back the payment because Paypal made the mistake. Sales cannot find that an order was ever made. Customer service cannot find my previous Adobe purchases (I have made several over the past decade) in order to back trace my order and see if there was a mistake in the system. 
Hi!This is an error that has been around (at least on my computer) for some months now:Pressing the Sign in link on the Adobe Forum pages takes me to a non exising page error (404).this is the page I get to:Page is not available broken link 404.Also there is no form to report this kind of web page errors, when clicking the "Send us an e-mail" link on this page..Signing in from some other page or form at first seems to make no difference, reloading the page makes no difference, but clicking "sign in" again, I get logged in (without getting to the sign in page).Am I the only one having htese problems?I'm on Windows, alwsay using FireFox (latest version).Best regards,Andreas Jansson
I'm buying a new machine and I have 2 options of Graphics cards 1 = NVidia NVS 510 2Gb PCi GFX with HDMi and 2 = NVidia Quadro 2000 1Gb PCI GFX Card – 3D. I know that the Quadro 2000 is supported but the NVS 510 is very new and I don't know if it has been tested on the After Effects platform yet. Which card would be the better one to choose?
