I was posting in the forums, as normal, and I looked and noticed off to the right there was an option to turn on email notifications in the Actions panel. .I turned it on, and 5 minutes later my inbox started getting flooded with notifications to EVERY post on the site. So I went back and tried turning it back off, but that IS NOT WORKING and my inbox is getting overwhelmed - Can Someone please help me!I really though it meant to turn on notifications for JUST the one thread!Thanks,Aza

How can I recover my old profile? I'm now exploded view, but my original posts are all listed as exploded view-k4Uugm.Along with my posts, I've also lost my avatar.I've seen the other post concerning this problem, but logging out, deleting cookies and logging back in didn't help.

I have a photo of a friend and I from a few years ago and it would be a really great picture, except it's double exposed and the second exposure is super light and covers our faces.  I was hoping someone had some tips on how to fix it.Thanks!

It is extremely difficult to follow threads in the Adobe forums which uses the Jive  Clearspace  software, according to the links at the bottom of every forum page.....If you dare read a thread and  want to return to the  list of subjects -- you are instead returned to  the first page.   And  that's not the only problem!I never saw  such an inconvenent forum software, quite  frankly and am thinking that  maybe Adobe has not set it up correctly.The  way it is set up on the Adobe  Forums gets in the way having useful  discussions -- you don't dare go  to page 10, let's say, and when you try  to return to the page you were  on -- end up on page 1 again.There is  open source forum software that is far better than the Forum software as implimented on the Adobe Forums -- and I do not mean to insult Open Source Here  is my post on the adobe forum  http://forums.adobe.com/thread/658911?tstart=0

I'm just wondering if Adobe offers an automatic PDF conversion program, where the program can monitor a specific folder and convert files saved in there into a PDF and put it in another folder.

I am using a Sony Vaio laptop with Windows XP operating system andInternet Explorer 6.I am building a website but have encountered an issue.I am using music characters on Word documents that I am linking on my web site.These characters show up fine in word, but when I save to a HTML webpage document (in word),they don't display correct on my web browser.Is there a solution to this problem?ThanksNick

There used to be a very active Adobe forum participant. He used to annoy me and he used to delight me. He most frequently came up with noteworthy answers.I used to be a regular reader of the Adobe forums too, not so much a participant. Things at Adobe forums changed…Now with the advent of CS5, I am browsing a bit again to find out the pros and cons and the bugs etc.Buko! Are you also one of the casualties? I am missing you.

Is there any way for users to delete posts? I did a search "Delete Posts" and found that lots of people either create a post at the bottom of their thred that says "I no longer need this post is there a way to delete it?" If not do they simply expire after a certian amount of time?Thanks for your help

I confess I have never tried the e-mail route to read and answer forum questions.  So I am wondering what happens if a response is made, the person gets it by e-mail. and then the person making the response goes back in an edits their answer.  Does the person get just the original response, or do they now get another e-mail with the edited version?This can make a huge difference as sometimes the response is altered due to the "oh crap, I read the OP message wrong" syndrome, or the "oh crap, why did I say that" syndrome.

I'm having trouble updating flash and dreamweaver to 11.0.1. It always says install failed. I did move all my abobe applications into 1 folder in applications. The other updates went through but these won't. What should i do?

Yesterday I had one thread where the OP replyed with blank boxes.  I would reply that there is nothing in the box and he would reply with another blank box, like 3 times.   Finally he just said he was posting wrong.What is he doing or not doing that would cause this?

Just a few quick questions: I have a limited list of fonts available in the "Font Family" drop-down in the Adobe Forum editing screens. I count 17 in Google Chrome. Is that abbreviated list set by the JiveWare, by my choice of browser, by some other means?Can that font list be expanded upon?Just curious, as I have several 100 installed fonts (Win XP-Pro), and many are OTF's.TIA,Hunt

I had installed CS5 as trial and installed Camera Raw 6.1 - everything worked fine.Then I bought and registered CS5, uninstalled CS4 and suddenly LR 2.7 didn't find CS5 as an external editor - even after a reboot and there was no apparent way to make it do that.So, I uninstalled CS5 and reinstalled and it showed up in LR 2.7.Now, however, CS5 does not recognize my Canon T2i files as it says the Camera Raw version does not support the file format. It did before i bought and registered in the extended version but when i put the new serial number in and it went from extended the regular version, it stopped being able to read the files.My version in about and plugins is 6.0.0.205 in CS5 nowI have downloaded and attempted to install the camera raw 6.1 updater several times - it says some updates failed to install- update is not applicable.Tech support says that is the newest version.In my trial version, the updater installed, i could read T2i files but now it won't install and i can't read

I'm having problems with first, my quotes from Word (or like from an email, copied and pasted) are coming in as straight quotes and second, when I go to make a pdf, the "curly" quotes are not even showing up. I am new to CS4 and never had this problem in earlier versions. Everything is at the default setting. Please help, thanks!

I'm trying to get PHP working. I've set up PHP and Apache for Windows on an earlier computer without problem; DW was not involved. I've also set up websites without PHP using Dreamweaver CS3 w/o problems. But I'm having problems with CS5. even though I've carefully followed instructions, tutorials and videos re. setting up a site on Windows so I can program PHP pages. The php editor seems to be working, even though it is flagging errors on some code which I know is good PHP code.I can't get the site definition right to save my life. I used Wampserver and I found the phpinfo page, so I know that's working.The server is on.  I realize Dreamweaver has to know where the apache server is, and I point it to htdocs, which is buried deeply within the wamps directory. I did not make any changes to the apache or php ini files, since I was not directed to do so in the installation instructions.I can't navigate, in the browser, using localhost. Hi all,I ran out of idea's. I'm getting 8,000 to 10,000 emails aday from adobe. I've tryed to connect them and they are looking into it. It's been six days now and they keep closing the case number. I've contacted my webmail supplier and they are just as bad. It's it my business address and this is down to buying CS5 Update!!!! Please sort it out Adobe!!!Jenny
