I can't seem to find out how to mark an answer the correct one in the adobe forums.  According to this it would be on the bottom of the post: Marking posts as correct or helpful on the Adobe forums but this is what I see:Any ideas why I am not able to mark an answer correct?  It has worked fine before.  Thanks.[This thread also changed from discussion to question by moderator.]

yesterday I posted a question in the german forums ( https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2469695 ). It was about an regulary annoying notification after booting my mac that there's an update for Acobat DC (I don't have DC). I have CS6 and an abo for XD. The messaging is coming up since installing XD.Later I got a message from somebody who pretended to be an adobe employee, asking for my serial number of DC. I have reported this here in "forum comments".I didn't even start using XD and my motivation is steadily decreasing. Why did you delete or lock my posting? The notification issue still exists. Please contact me via private message (or give me a call) if this does not belong in the forums, but please don't delete my postings without any comment.

There doesn't seem to be a "report user" button. I just received this private messageThis appears to be spam, I didn't visit the page. The user profile for obgerm30831805 doesn't seem a genuine user.

I have a post and I cannot edit it. I tried contacting support and they just gave me the run around. When I view a post I did, I cannot edit it, it just says "No actions are available".I posted this in the adobe creative cloud forum because this support for the forum was hard to find. I'm not sure how to move it here so I've posed again. It's here:Can't edit post, actions > No actions are available . As I stated in this linked post, someone here should get in touch with chat support and let them know this is where forum support is. I went through two long chats with no help. First, I am amused, and second, I can't sign in to the Adobe forums using Safari on my new iMac. There must be a setting I need to change and I don't have any idea what it could be. I have also tried looking for ways to reset Safari to defaults and apparently I haven't found it.I used two-factor identification when signing into the forums, and it failed a half a dozen times or so before I got locked out.The laugh-out-loud part is that when I click "Contact Adobe Customer Support" for help with signing in, I have to sign in to get support. This cracks me up!I can get into the forums with my iPad and Firefox, but if someone can help with the Safari setting, I'd love to hear the solution. And if you just want to laugh with me, please join in!

Hi, things have changed here, I select photoshop forum, its a community it seems, I post a message and get asked to pick a community from a list before it will allow new thread to get posted, however why is that when I am already in the photoshop 'community' page, furthermore in the drop down list there is no photoshop to pick !photoshop sketch I see, something to do with an app, and an android,  but thats not photoshop., as in PC calibrated screen professional photoshop , wacom pen etc.I type in Adobe photoshop to that window and hit send.I cant see what happened to my post, except it said in red you are not allowed to edit this post.Merlin
