So yesterday after five I was at work, and logged into the Adobe forums. Today, I went to my profile to look at the threads I posted in yesterday, and I found a post I didn't make under my name:http://forums.adobe.com/message/6071240#6071240The creepiest part of this, for me, is that I actually know rather more than the average bear regarding theories of archaic Pacific migration. I mean, lots more, courtesy of a hardass anthropology professor, some years ago. And I've gone on record on the Internet, recently, in forums where they care a lot about theories of Oceanic migration, that I don't care all that much about theories of Pacific migration. So I know that that is not a post I'd make. I'm guessing that this is a Jive issue, not someone very carefully messing with my head. Have there been recent reports of "Hey, that's not my posting style!"?

When one performs a search using the Ask a Question box, one receives results such as this:For me, it isn't very useful to know how many people like or dislike each presented thread; I would very much prefer to see the number of answers received by each question. When I am looking for help, I find it very frustrating, and a terrible waste of time, to open one thread after another only to find that the question has not been answered.

If I've posted a topic and and following replies throught hte day - I am only kept signed in for a half hour at most! It is so frustrating to have to sign in 10x a day to use the forum. Can I adjust this setting anywhere? and no matter how many times I click the "remember me" checkbox - it NEVER does. Please help!

There has been lately a very noticeable increase in the number of questions from newcomers that are posted in the wrong forums, and in the poster's native languages, not always English. From comments in many of those messages, it would seem that they are autromatically redirected here from other Adobe sites/forums without their becoming aware of this, and so they don't know where they are, or that they are no longer in a page in their own languages. There are even some who think that they are using a chat service.This is cluttering the forums -at least the ones I frequent-. with questions on unrelated programs and in languages that force me to use the translator to understand what is said.Not to mention the numerous messages with signatures including sensitive personal information...I hope that the "new verswion" of these forums that has been subtly announced corrects problems such as the ones I have described here.

OK, this has been plaguing me for a while now, but had time on my hands, so will ask for some assistance from the forum gurus here.Problem:I use the Forum Search (yeah, I know that the name could be better... ), to locate many articles to link to. In most cases, I know the exact Search keyword to use, but I then have an issue - the URL provided for the article is almost always pointing way down a long thread. That can be useful sometimes, but I want to get the URL for the beginning of those threads, to make it easier for others (especially new users) to get the thread from the beginning, and not at the end, or even the middle. Even when the Search keyword is in the title, and also in the OP, the Adobe Forum Search always dumps me at the end of the thread, or at best, the middle - never at the beginning.Here is an example:Search in Premiere Elements Tips & Tricks Forum for keyword "resources." What can we help you with?Your forums should not be made hard to use as they are.  Can't you make them function more sensibly? Your forums should be easy to use by very readily understood appearance and function as a forum, or simply do not call it a forum.  Most people would not even find how to register to use them properly.  I have to believe most initial visitors to the forum are frustrated to try to use it as a forum at all, the same as I was for a while in my first visit to the very poorly named "forums"."Sign in" is very nearly hidden, rather than being easy to see.  Then joining is a next step not shown up front either.  "Ask a question" should be only called something like a search function, as it is only a search function.  "Ask a question" to me, means that what we type gets posted, as that is what a forum is, and how it works.  It does not do that.  Your "ask a question" is only a search function, and it is not "ask a question".

Hi!Ich weiß, das ist ein bereits viel diskutiertes Thema. Ich hab verschiedene Beiträge dazu gelesen, verschiedene Lösungsvorschläge ausprobiert. Geholfen hat bisher nichts.Ich verwende Premiere CC auf einem ganz neu aufgesetzten Windows 7 Ultimate Rechner und versuche, M2TS-Dateien einer Sony DSC-RX100 zu importieren. Alle diese Dateien haben in Premiere keine Tonspur. In allen anderen Programmen laufen diese tadellos. Offenbar gibt es dieses Problem schon seit CS6 - es wäre fein, wenn es inzwischen auch eine Lösung gäbe. Was hab ich bisher versucht?Neuinstallation - ergebnislosUpdates - Premiere ist auf dem aktuellsten StandNeue Verlinkung der Dateien mit Kopien in einem anderen Ordner - ergebnislos.Import sowohl von der Festplatte als auch direkt von der Sony - beides funktioniert nicht.Audio-Voreinstellungen beim Mixdown verändern - ergebnislosImport direkt in den Media-Encoder - funktioniert nicht, weil auch dort schon beim Import keine Tonspur vorhanden ist. Dopo aver disattivato l'opzione di rinnovo automatico per l'abbonamento Adobeform Basic ho attivato di nuovo il rinnovo automatico collegato alla carta di credito. Tuttavia quando entro nella pagina di creazione dei moduli mi visualizza l'account gratuito e non quello Basic che ho acquistato!Come posso fare?

Uso inDesign CS5, quando esporto un file in PDF il nero di default NON sovrastampa. Ovviamente nel pannello di controllo l'aspetto del nero e settatto in sovrastampa. The orientation of both documents is identical - 11x17, landscape.I have tried rotating the source document before copying. I've tried rotating the target document before and after copying. I've played with the printer settings, page setup, orientation, the works. I've tried chatting with customer support, and they never respond. I've searched the web and all the fora I can find, and everything has come up poor.This is driving me mad. It makes the whole concept of copy/paste useless. Existing forum answers and a deep web search have come up poor. Any hope before I slit my throat? Thanks in Advance.

Eben habe ich von PSE 9 au 12 gewechselt. Vorher konnte ich per Drag and Drop Photos aus iPhoto rüberziehen. Das geht nicht mehr.  Import in Datei ist inaktiv.Es gibt da einen Organizer, der ist neu für mich. danke für Tipps

I was signing in to the PS forums on a computer that only I use.  It auto signed me on, but as a totally different user.  So far, this has happened only once, but it was very odd.
