I found a post from 2014 but it seems to refer to a version of the forum software that is not this one.

I can't figure out how to quote a previous post.

There's no manual for the community, the closest guide you can find it's here.
Quoting is a feature that hasn't been available yet, but it should be launched within the next couple of weeks.
