All things considered, I think the moderator was generous in not taking further action. Normally duplicate posts are deleted.  Users who repeatedly violate community guidelines are usually banned.  Just saying...

With respect to the topic, turning off Notifications in Creative Cloud desktop preferences is all that's required.  A simple fix for a simple issue.  The nuclear option would be to disconnect from the Internet but nobody suggested that, until now.  🙂
