Sort by Latest Activity Not Working

The sort by latest activity is not working properly. Below is a screen capture of the Lightroom Classic forum, you can see what sorting I have selected and how the threads are not listed in the order of latest activity. Furthermore, some threads just don't show up; and if I change the sort order to sort by creation date, new threads appear that are not listed in the latest activity sort.
