Digital Certificates Don't Render Apostrophe in Name in Acrobat Reader DC

I have Acrobat Pro DC and Acrobat Reader DC. I created a signature in each. The signature rendered fine in Acrobat Pro DC, but in Reader DC the apostrophe in a name does not render correctly. Here are the images side-by-side.

We're about to roll out DC across our entire organization, with most people getting Reader DC. Is there a viable workaround for the name not rendering correctly? It's being pulled from the user account, there's no option to correct the name that I can see. Thanks!

Hi paula81737461,

I have tried the replicate the issue at our end. It worked fine with the apostrophe in the signature in Adobe Reader DC.

Please try once the repair the installation. For that, launch the application and go to Help menu > Repair installation.

Also try once to recreate the signature and check if the issue still occurs.

If you still experience the issue, please share the dot version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and OS installed on your system.

Share the exact steps you used to create the signature.

We will be waiting for your response.

Regards,

Hello, I have this same problem in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC v2019.010.20098. I've tried using the Repair Installation option, have uninstalled and reinstalled Acrobat Pro on my computer, have deleted and recreated my Digital IDs several times, but always have the symbols "‹" appear in the place of the apostrophe in my last name in my digital signature. Please advise how this can be fixed?

- Launch the application and go to Edit menu > Preferences > Signatures.

- Under Identities & Trusted Certificates, click on More tab.

- Click on Add digital ID icon as shown below in the screenshot
