Need to be able to link to or reference a specific post/message within a Forums thread

As far as I can tell, there is no longer any way to link to an individual message within a thread. The date/time of each message itself is not linkable, as is customary on discussion boards, Twitter, Facebook, etc.

In addition, the messages are no longer numbered either (as they were before), and may be collapsed.

So... how do we direct a customer to a specific place within a long discussion? This is important.

We really need a method to get back and refer to an individual message within a Forums thread (with URLs and/or numbering), as there used to be! Thanks.

Yes, fortunately they added the requested capability in the first sprint release.

Now, if you right-click on the datestamp of any individual post, then you can copy the direct link straight to that message.

Not many users will know this however, so I'd still also like to see each message individually numbered as well, just like we had in Jive...

That way, someone could refer back to "post #3 on this thread" (or via the URL), exactly like before.

ProDesignTools, good evening. It is possible to link replies in a thread in the current forum. However, since it is necessary to find the link of the corresponding post from [Latest My Posts] in the author's profile, it is quite troublesome. If you have a button that can get the URL directly, it will be easier.
