Getting "An Unknown Error" while saving file in Illustrator CC2020

I have an update for you. We have fixed this issue in our latest release (v 24.0.1). If you are not already on v 24.0.1, then we recommend you to update to the latest version and let us know how it goes.

Does it work when you first save it as a PDF (Illustrator editable) and then as an AI file?
