Why am I getting a vertical flashing bar on the right side of my frame in Premiere CC 2017 with my GH5 4k 10bit footage?

Hello,

Need help figuring out why there is a line of pixels that are bouncing vertically on the very far right frame of my 4k Gh5 10bit video footage? It's really odd, if its not rendered it doesn't do it, but if I render it on the timeline, it starts moving around. It also is in the final output render. Im using Premiere CC 2017 on the latest update. GH5 is up to date. I made sure all my setting were correct. If I stretch the image outside the boarder then its fine. It's like it's a pixel off when it comes to the sequence setting. But those are made automatically when you put out your first clip. So Im stomped? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much

Troy

Try updating or rolling back your video driver directly from the card manufacturer's site.

Guess what my sample of GH5 4K 10-bit show the same problem.  Therefore I used MediaInfo and got this:

GH5 4K 10-bit.png

If were true 16 x 9 aspect ratio it would be 1.777.

No, by resolution I meant vertical and horizontal pixel count, as in 1920 x 1080.

Hi Troy,

Please check if enabling this option (High-Quality Playback) makes any difference.

Hello kulpreet singh, I looked at the full res setting and I already was set in the full res, so thats not the issue. Thanks for your suggestion.

Thanks for trying those steps, Troy.

We are aware of this issue and we are working on a fix. Hopefully, this will be fixed with our next release (no ETA).

At this moment I do not want you to make any unnecessary changes.

I have a similar issue when with Canon C300 Mark II footage. When playing/editing the footage in Premiere it's fine (4K 10bit MXF) but when exporting to a 1080p H.264 a flickering band appears on the footage.

Any suggestions?
