Accidental subscription

Hello,

I am facing an uncomfortable situation.

This week, I noticed an email from adobe mentioning a subscription fee, which made me panic and I quickly unsubscribed to adobe not thinking twice about it (on my phone) and thinking maybe my wife or family member accidently subscribed to a trial recently. What usually happens is I have my old university email linked to my gmail, and those emails boucing from my old university email to my gmail usually go to my junk mail, which I rarely go through.

Today, few days later, I asked my family members if anyone had subscribed to adobe recently from my computer with my email, but no one did. So I went over my credit card fees with this in mind, and somehow (and this blows my mind because I usually notice this stuff), I have been charged monthly for an adobe subscription I was never aware I was subscribed to. And this is since at least march 2020 (from my available bank statements on my current credit card).

If I calculate from that specific point, it consists of monthly payments cumulating to 1548,59 canadian dollars for adobe "acropro" and "ps creative cl". Although this account was created in february 2017... would support please be able to tell me how much I was charged in total from this account since february 2017?

Not only did I not use it once, I'm pretty sure I wasn't the one who subscribed to it initially. I suspect one of my family members might have subscribed to a trial (thinking it was free) on my computer for school work using my university email, but no one has a recollection of it and neither do I.

Is there any way support could have access to my activity on this application, or just notice I haven't logged in my account since its creation or anything of the sort (as I could notice account statistics showing it is my first time logging in)? Also, would it be possible to confirm that I am completely unsubscribed to any other adobe service please? I would greatly appreciate if I could get some type of refund. I am a healtcare worker and in debt, and the pandemic has been a hard stretch for me and my family.

This is the first time something of the sort happens to me, I would have let it slide (feeling just shameful)... but we are talking maybe a few thousand dollars... (I feel violated...).

I would like to thank support in advance for taking time to read my message.

And yes, I know, I should have paid closer attention to my finances. Lesson learned.

I do not know, but I check my credit card charges closely. I doubt that there is a possibility to get the complete sum refunded, but you I suggest you contact Adobe customer care to see what they are willing to do for you. Good luck.
