Adobe Analytics discrepancy compared to Google Analytics

New Here ,
Sep 06, 2023 Sep 06, 2023

Hello everyone!

I am looking for any insights of why visits in google analytics would be lower than the reported visits from our X site (using adobe analytics) sent to the a Y site (using google analytics) - using X and Y to differ the sites.

For example - our site has reported thousands of visits clicking on CTAs leading to that site (-3% difference compared to the visitor dimension).  However, this number has only been about 600 in total per what the team has seen on their end. Now, I know comparing data in different platforms are not the best practice as this can vary depending on how visits/sessions/etc are defined in either platform. Has anyone dealt with this before and come to a potential root cause?

Best,
