Am I supposed to uninstall programs after downgrade?

I downgraded my account yesterday (can't afford the $59.99 plan any longer) to the Photoshop Photograpy plan. Today I had to download and print out some PDFs. Acrobat Pro opened and now I'm being presented with a window indicating there's a seven-day trial I must cancel in a few days to avoid being charged for it.

I didn't sign up for an acrobat trial - I saw there's a version of acrobat included with my new plan.

So, I'm wondering if there was something else I was supposed to do after downgrading in order not to have the other programs, such as Illustrator, InDesign, etc.? I see they're still shown on my computer. Am I supposed to uninstall them? I assumed since no instructions were given after downloading that they would be removed by Adobe. And hopefully without making my old CS6 programs unusable.

You MAY have a problem (unless Adobe has changed something since I saved this link)

4As soon as you install any part of the Cloud, even a trial, it replaces your program management system
-if you plan to keep using a serial number program you should NOT install a Cloud program, not even a trial
-Read Cloud takes over https://community.adobe.com/t5/Get-Started/Get-off-the-cloud/td-p/8075485 for some ideas

If you have Acrobat as part of your CS6 you need to do 1 of 2 things

1 - uninstall the subscription programs you no longer use

or

2 - manually relink opening a PDF to your CS6 version of Acrobat

Thank you, the link is helpful. It appears that I might still be able to download and use some of my CS6 programs, but not all. If so, there's just one I'll need to find a substitute for.

the photography plan does NOT include acrobat. if you don't want use/pay for acrobat, cancel the trial:

make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

if you want to cancel but are unable to follow the steps described in the "how to cancel page", contact adobe support.

there are 2 ways to contact adobe; chat and twitter (now x):

chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies, and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.

Thanks. When I first compared plans, the Photoshop plan indicated Acrobat Mobile was included. I had already downgraded plans and had no problems downgrading, but wondered if Adobe automatically removed the apps not included in the downgrade. I've found now where and how I can uninstall them from Creative Cloud, and also see the Acrobat Pro trial Adobe automatically offered has indeed expired now. I just wanted to be sure I didn't have to cancel it myself since I hadn't signed up for it.

adobe doesn't automatically uninstall anything from mobiles, pcs or macs, at any time. and you can always check your account for downloadable installers, your current plan(s), if any and a variety of other things related to adobe, https://account.adobe.com
