I was asked for my card details over the Adobe chat by Navneet - I think this is totally unacceptable, how can I be sure that it is a safe place to share these details - Is this normal protocal?

Alex, who asked you for your credit card details? I don't see any recent interactions nor any Adobe software titles or services associated with the e-mail address you used to post to this public discussion forum.
Please see https://helpx.adobe.com/mena_en/manage-account/using/update-billing-information.html for information on how you can update your payment information. If you need additional assistance then please update this public forum discussion with the case number from your interaction. Beware of fake Adobe reps who may contact you privately offering to sell you software or take control of your computer. It's a scam, run away! Real Adobe agents will never reach out by Outlook, Gmail, Hotmail or Skype.

As did I, I kept on resisting giving my card information VIA a link and lord and behold... they still were able to process what needed to be processed. ADOBE already has your information there is NO NEED to provide such sensitive details again to an agent. Something is definitely going on.

Yeah... to ADOBE not a person in a chat box. Like I said before, there is no need to provide card information to SOMEONE when the company had my billing information on file.

It's not too comforting to think that any Tom, Dick or Jane could cancel my plan without proof that they are the cardholder. Most places ask me to confirm the first or last 4 digits of the card on file.
