Can I change my subscription plan from monthly to annually?

Community Beginner ,

Hello Adobe Community.

I'm new here, it's like my first steps with

Adobe Subscriptions.

I started my subscription as a monthly plan because it's the first

time with Adobe, and I wanted to test the services before going

with an annual plan.

when I dug looking for a solution

I found that I have to cancel my current plan completely

then start another as an annual plan.

The issue is if I cancel my current plan now, a cancellation fee will be charged.

Any Idea to help me here?

Thank you.

You should be able to change without cancelling. Have you followed these instructions to change your plan? https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/change-plan.html

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, I can change my plan (the whole plan), but I wanted only to change the time options from monthly to annually, with the current subscription details remaining the same.

Is this available, or do I have to change the whole plan to select another time option (monthly/annually) option?

Thank you, Ben.

@FHD_86

click the manage plan button and see what's available.  you may (or may not) be able to change the plan yourself.

if you're not able to change yourself, contact adobe support and they will help you. there are 3 ways to contact adobe; chat, phone and twitter:

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. ie, double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an adobe.com domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. then check again and be very suspicious. any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam, https://community.adobe.com/t5/using-the-community-discussions/staying-safe-in-the-adobe-support-com...

I just contacted Customer Care through chat, as I also want to convert my "Paid Monthly" subscription to "Paid Yearly" but they told me I would have to cancel my current subscription to do that. I do not want to cancel my subscription  😞

If you have a monthly subscription (not an annual subscription paid by the month) you should be able to easily cancel without harm and take immediatly the annual subscription paid either by the month or for a year. Your cloud data and programs will be the same and will continue to work.

If you have an annual subscription paid by the month and you cancel, you will get charged an early termination fee. To avoid that fee, you need to work with customer care to cancel and take the annual subscription. You should not lose anything with that, except that your anniversary date will be a different one.

Even that this is from 2023, it is still true: when you get charged an early termination fee, then you have an annual subscription paid by the month, and not the more expensive monthly subscription paid also by the month, but cancellable without any fees.
