Failure to change my Instagram linked to my account

New Here ,
Aug 05, 2025 Aug 05, 2025

I've been trying a number of ways to change the Instagram account linked to my Lightroom community account as the wrong account is connected. I've tried changing in under profile settings but there's no option to change the account linked. I've also tried changing it on the Lightroom community website page but the 'my profile' section doesn't load.
As a photographer my Instagram is crucial to the growth of my exposure, so for this not to be working is not only frustrating but limiting for my usage of the platform.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

@Amos Mukasa, thanks for posting your question to this public discussion forum. Were you able to complete the linking process that connects your Adobe account to your Instagram account, Amos?

If so, then see https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-cc/using/content-credentials-ios.html for information on how to add the Content Credentials to your images in Lightroom for iOS, including the linked Instagram account.

We're looking forward to hearing from you or answering any questions you have about the process, Amos. We are here to help ensure you get credit for the creative work facilitated by our services and applications.

Greetings @Jeffrey_A_Wright , thanks for the follow up.

I've not been able to change the instagram account currently linked to my Adobe account, so the account currently connected is still the old one. If you are able to walk me through how to change this, I would greatly appreciate it.

On the other hand, I have successfully added the correct instagram account and other accounts to the Content Credentials to my images. So thank you for that.
