Hello,

I have been trying to cancel my annual plan because I don't use it as often as I thought. Before the year was finished I saw that I had to pay a fee because I was cancelling before the year was over.

I started on April 29th 2021, so I waited until April 29th 2022 and now it says my plan has been renewed automatically and have to wait another year to cancel because if not I have to pay a fee?! So when am I supposed to be able to cancel? April 29th 2023 exactly before your system decides to renew again?

I feel that you are giving me no option to choose what I would like to do and that is pushing to a forced pruchase, which somehow is almost like stealing!

Also I try to contact someone and you have no help center with real humans behind so that I can explain and ask.

Horrible service, to susbcribe is super easy but to cancel is a nightmare!

you have a grace period in which to cancel and NOT be subjected to a penalty.

if this fails to help you cancel today: https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html

using a browser that allows popups and cookies, contact adobe support by clicking here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human

You may not realise that the cancellation fee is not fixed. It is 50% of the amount promised to pay in the rest of current year. So in the first month it is equal to six months fee. After six month, it is equal to 3 months fee. In the last month it drops to zero.

Adobe's Annual plans are for a 12-month commitment. If you don't want your plan to auto-renew, then you can cancel it anytime during the 11th month... Adobe emails you when your renewal date is approaching:

Here's a guide explaining the process which should help you find the best solution, and possibly save some time or money:

What You Should Know Before Canceling Your Adobe Subscription

Outside of that, we cannot really help further here, as this is primarily a user-to-user forum – so your best bet would be to contact Adobe Customer Care directly.
