I have the usual problem of being sent in circles while trying to find a real person to talk to on this website and when I click the "Contact us" button which is supposedly supposed to open up a chat box, literally nothing happens. I've tried for 2 days in a row now and its really frustrating. As you can see from the video I am clicking and nothing is happening.

Correct answer kglad

Its the same whether I am logged in or not. It's just very frustrating and typical of adobe to make it so difficult to get help. I assume you cant do anything other than send me that link so that's anyway for your time.

try a different browser.

if that fails, use photoshop or twitter.

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. ie, double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an adobe.com domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. then check again and be very suspicious. any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam, https://community.adobe.com/t5/using-the-community-discussions/staying-safe-in-the-adobe-support-community/td-p/12919684/redirect_from_archived_page/true

Faye, I am sorry that you are blocked from contacting our support team.  Please click on https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen and a chat window will open automatically.  If the chat window fails to open then use a different device to contact us.

I am sorry, Faye, I know it would be frustrating to be actively thwarted from reaching us.  It is likely misconfigured browser or security software is preventing your ability to contact us.

The experience available in https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen also works on mobile devices.  If you are still unable to reach us on a phone or tablet, then use a device on a different network to access the chat box.  You can also find the correct phone number to reach us in the Additional Contact options available at the top of the chat window.
