I bought a month's worth of indie for a month in May, but it was being paid for as an indie who had not been used until August without being informed after learning. How can you make a system like this?
I'd like to get a refund for the last 3 months of payment that I didn't use.

Hi,
please contact the sales team in your country.
You need to also stop your subscription from your account. Login and access your profile details, in the payment plan you should get a link to stop your subscription.

This is primarily a user Forum, so you are not really addressing Adobe here, even though some Adobe employees thankfully have been dropping by.
Did you read what license model you signed up for at the time?

Hi @boram5C2C
Moving this to the Account, Payment and Plan forum.
As already mentioned the money is automativally deducted every month as per your subscribed plan untill you cancel it, not using the software does not count as a reason for refund. However I would suggest you contact the support team and tell them your concern, they will provide you with the best possible solution that would minimize your loss. Also, be aware that if you have an annual plan payable monthly then an early cancellation could entail a cancellation fees. So, talk to the support team about your options and possibility of waiver for cancellation fees if it's applicable to you.

Anyone who doesn't check their bank statements each month is massively naive about credit theft. In any event, there is no such thing as "a month's worth of indie" or anything else.
Creative Cloud is by annual subscription. You agreed to these terms when you joined.
After 14 days, you are not entitled to a refund. And your plan renews each month automatically until you cancel it.

Since you never cancelled, Adobe has no way of knowing you don't want it -- right?
