If you knew you were to be called into military service soon, perhaps you should have taken the month-to-month option which can be cancelled anytime without penalty. Instead you took the less costly annual plan which has an early cancellation fee.
In any case, you must contact Adobe Support directly and try to persuade the agent to waive the fee for you. Otherwise pay the cancellation fee which you agreed to pay. It's only 50% of your remaining months.
