By accident we ordered an additional license (membership?) for Adobe Pro DC next to our membership we already have on Creative Cloud which also has Adobe Pro. The problem with the Creative Cloud membership is a limit on the number of users who can use the apps. We were busy developping a new extension for one or more clients and we needed unrestricted access to Adobe Pro DC for the developper. The impression was this was a monthly subscription but it wasn't, it was for one year. Now we want to cancel this subscription. However, in https://account.adobe.com/plans we can only manage the Creative Cloud membership, not the additional subscription on Adobe Pro DC. Does this mean the subscription will expire after one year or not?

No, the subscription will renew for a year. It shouldn't be possible to acquire an Acrobat licence when you have a Creative Cloud All Apps subscription. The Acrobat licence was probably acquired for a different Adobe ID.
If you have a teams licence or an Enterprise licence, you manage the licence via the adminconsole (https://adminconsole.adobe.com). You need to be an admin, to access the console. You can cancel the licence during the renewal process, a month before the contract anniversary.
If you have an individual subscription, you should contact Adobe customer care as indicated by @Manan Joshi, if you have a Teams/Enterprise subscription, I recommend contacting support via the adminconsole.
