Hello Adobe Community, I have just done a new install of original Adobe Creative Suite 2 Premium, however as you all probably aware I cannot activate because Adobe dismantled the activation server. How then do I now find the Adobe web link to the new CS2 install software plus the new activation code, cant seem to find it. Beats me why Adobe choose to be so obtuse over bonified paid up past software sales. Any help greatly appreciated. Thankyou. Trev
Mr. trescat, Hello.
As already recognized, the activation server for CS2 products is closed,
so it is not possible to issue an activation code for CS2.
The activation server has also been closed for some time, and as a remedy,
an activationless installer has been released (for several years).
This kind of situation should have been avoided if this information was properly grasped.
Unfortunately, there is no way to help this time.
Since CS2 itself is a very old product, we cannot guarantee operation on

(Windows10, Mojave, etc.). Consider moving to CC.

Hello Tacafy, if there is an activationless installer available for CS2 photoshop or in my case Creative Suite 2 Premium, then where does Adobe hide its wherabouts, can't find anywhere??

Really no one needs guarantee for 15 year old software running, we just need to have a viable chance to install the software without the unneccesary convolution of deactivated activation codes? what a lot of nonsense

Sorry for being late, trescat.
Unfortunately, it seems that the provision of installers that do not require CS2 authentication has already ended (it was provided until around May this year, but it seems that the installers of older versions of CS6 and CC have been organized) . The reason for this is that it became an old product as explained earlier, and the number of PCs with a guaranteed operating environment has decreased (especially the Mac version cannot be executed because the CPU has changed from PowerPC to Intel), and that some days have passed since the release. It seems that it was finished with.
If there is a way to get it, it should be introduced when I first reply.
