Pregunta sobre cancelación al año del servicio

Hola, quisiera cancelar el servicio de animate, pero hoy vi que se me cobraba todo el resto del año. Ok.

La página no es clara cuando puedo cancelar el app (sin tarifa de cancelación).

Asumo que por la misma fecha que lo contraté, pero no sé si me vayan a salir con el chiste de que no puedo cancelar nunca porque "ya se me pasó el tiempo" y otra vez tengo que esperar otro año. No necesito el app. La verdad es que no me di cuenta que me cobrarían una tarifa (sí, es mi culpa).

Y lo peor es que no uso el programa para nada 😞

Si alguien tiene experiencia en esto, agradecerìa su ayuda para estar atenta a cuándo puedo cancelar.

cancel now and pay the fee if you never use cc.  it makes no sense to keep the subscription for something you never use, and pay more.

 

for others, if you are using an adobe program but want to cancel at the end of an annual subscription, enter a reminder in you calendar when there's one week left until your subscription automatically renews.

 

make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human

The FAQ page is not clear if this cancelation fee will block me from using the program. I know, I don't use it, but  I assume the cancelation fee covers the total of the yearly fee you were supposed to stick to (and I didn't). This is my one an only question.  If Adobe is charging me the rest of the months I was supposed to be using the program anyway, I might as well be paying them, rather than paying the same amount and not being able to have my money's worth at all.

before you resign yourself  to a distasteful ending with adobe, plead your case with adobe support.  they sometimes relent.

 

use a browser that allows popups and cookies and contact adobe support by clicking here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human

p.p.p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. ie, double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an adobe.com domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. then check again and be very suspicious. any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam, https://community.adobe.com/t5/using-the-community-discussions/staying-safe-in-the-adobe-support-com...

I am a happy Photshop user (not that I'm super happy having to pay for the software forever. I wish they brought back the ability to buy the software). I just don't use animate anymore. That's the plan I wanted to let go. 

I did contact adobe through twitter, but they told me to call them up. I honestly do not have the time.
