Hello. Happy New Year!

I wonder if anyone can help me, this is doing my head in!

I'm trying to set up m new offline computer that won't get viruses, get clogged up, bug me to buy things, slow down etc. I'm trying to transfer my CS5 Design Standard onto the new machine. I have used the original disks and the serial number I used to install it on my old computer. I have used the installer for the suite and not the individual apps. I have checked the language settings are the same on the new and old machine. Every time I enter the serial number it says "This serial number is not valid for this product." I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I have tried using it as a trial version and then entering the number but to no avail. The new machine is not conneted to the web (although could be). Any suggestions?

Thank you very much.

Thank you very much. My problem was that what I thought was my serial number was in fact not my serial number. All sorted. Thank you.

For anyone else reading this, a serial number is 6 groups of 4 numbers... no letters
