I use Photoshop daily, but also frequently use InDesign and Illustrator. Those original 3 programs used to be available as a Creative Suite package. I don't work as much as I did, and don't want 40 programs for whatever it costs now. Is anyone else interested in a writing campaign to Adobe for this small OG package as a subscription for $20/month, similar to Photoshop/Lightroom?

Save your stationary and postage stamps.  Adobe won't change their pricing policy.

You can buy a la carte and pick & choose what you want:

Photoshop $21/mo + InDesign $21/mo + Illustrator $21/mo = $63/mo

Or you can buy one of deeply discounted bundles.

Photography Plan $10/mo which includes the following:
- Photoshop CC and Photoshop on iPad
- Lightroom on desktop, mobile and the web
- Lightroom Classic
- Portfolio website + hosting
- Creative Cloud Express (free starter plan)
- Bridge
- 20 GB c

Thanks, Nancy. I wonder how they were arm-twisted into making the photo package.

The Photography Plan has been created especially for photographers. The numerous small studios and the many hobby photographers make this plan probably highly profitable for Adobe. As for the Creative Cloud All App plan, it has been initially priced for people using 3 applications. So, even if 40+ Applications are included, the average user uses only 3 applications regularly, with a fourth and fifth occasionally.

So instead of looking at the CC All App subscription as a 40+ programs, that I don't use, I look at it as the 5+ programs that I use (I effectively use 5 programs regularly out of those offered). For Adobe, I suppose it's more cost-effective to do it that way as to offer different bundles, with people asking why this and that program is not included in THEIR bundle.

But I agree: everyone want's to pay less…

The average CC professional subscriber uses 3-4 of the apps. Your usage is typical and the $50 or so the normal expectation. It's no use saying there are 37 apps you don't use - that's like asking for a discount in an all-you-can-eat buffet because you didn't touch some dishes...

Yeah, but here it's all you can eat… And sometimes buffets are a possibility to try dishes, without having to pay extra.

As others have implied, it's possible to save money if you use Photography and one other major app. But if you use at least two other major apps, then getting All Apps generally works out better.

Some folks have been asking for additional bundles since Creative Cloud first came out ten years ago, but the only one that Adobe has added to date has been the Photography plan in 2013.

Thanks. Yes, the Photography plan is a great deal,  just wish they'd consider expanding the options. Nice to know I'm not alone.

Individually the best combination is Photoshop Plan $10/mo + InDesign $21/mo + Illustrator $21/mo = $52/mo. All Apps is currently $55/mo which is easily a better deal.

Other than the Photography Plan back in 2013, Adobe has never offered smaller or custom bundles despite countless requests in the past. We're not discouraging you from asking but, keep in mind, that it's well trodden ground.

Thanks, John.

I'm one of the folks that's been asking for 10 years! Thought I'd make one last foray.
