Their subscription service is a SCAM!

The way they set up their subscription service feels a whole lot like a scam. There was a free trial set up, and they make no iniative to send a courtesy reminder of your payments at all, so, like most busy people it is very easy to overlook the end of your trial. But instead of having some integrity and reminding you, they take your money and you enter into a "contract" for a year. This is also something they focus very little attention to if you are signign up. From there, if you cancel early it is a $99.95 fee to terminate early, on top of whatever months you have already paid for an unused service. It truly is so sleazy and sneaky how the business is operating and making profits. Plenty of people are happy to pay and use your services, why create such a negative brand image and reputation? [edited by moderator] The company should truly be ashamed of their strategy to make money, and not making an honest profit from people.

When you 'click to agree' to the subscription terms while buying a subscription, that means that you really do need to read BEFORE you enter your credit card number to buy a subscription
-You also need to know that a subscription renews AUTOMATICALLY if you do not cancel during your 12th month
-see the Nancy O'Shea message dated 3-22-2023 (with big red arrows) in this message

Busy people don't have the time to check reminder mails. The conditions of taking this subscription clearly state, that after the seven-day trial, you will get invoiced for your annual subscription. Even busy people can read that. You still have 14 days to cancel your subscription.

The termination fee is because you entered an annual subscription. The fee is half of the remaining due, and it honours the commitments Adobe took because you took this subscription.

John, how much are they paying you to reply like this? If you look this issue up there are hundreds of people reporting the same thing. Obviously the company is being purposely deceptive. It's a disgusting practice.

I am not paid at all, but I do see MANY messages from people who do not pay attention when buying a subscription... so I post the link to Nancy's message
