I found out this week while trying to cancel my Adobe plan that I've unknowingly entered a new yearly contract. I don't remember agreeing to anything at all explicitly, it just seemed to automatically renew and now it's not letting me cancel without paying a ridiculous amount.
Some background information, I was a student and had discounted student prices ($22 a month). Originally, I wanted to cancel my plan last year, but after knowing that I had to pay extra to leave the contract, I kept it, assuming I would be notified once the contract ended.
Well, I have been charged $44 a month for the past few months, and I assume they continued my plan without my consent, and I can't seem to cancel without paying. Please help!!

Adobe subscriptions renew automatically, and this information is in the terms & conditions. Adobe does not send notification that the term is up.
You can try to talk to customer service and see if they'll waive the fee, but if you're past 14 days from the renewal date, you are subject to being charged it.

They probably offered you 3 free months of service as an incentive to NOT CANCEL and you accepted it.
Now you're stuck for another year or you must pay the 50% early termination fee, your choice.
