Since I haven't worked since last mid-April (4-1/2 months) with nothing in sight moving forward, can I pause, or put on hold, my Adobe CC subscription? I keep getting emails from Adobe saying that they are there for me amid this COVID-19 crisis.

If you are an individual subscriber and you are having financial issues because of the pandemic, Adobe may waive subscription fees for a couple of months. You must already be a subscriber; Adobe is not going to give free or reduced-cost access to its programs to people who are not customers.
John has already provided you with information on how to contact customer support via web chat. You can also try googling for Adobe Customer Support Phone. That will usually provide you with a region-specific phone number.
Be prepared for a long wait whether you are using chat or phone. The last time I called, I spent 2 hours on hold.
