A Digital signed PDF shows a blank unsigned field.

I have a user whereby when she opens a PDF (which is already digitaly signed) - in that field instead of seeing what were supposed to see (the digi sgnature), we instead see just an empty field.

If she opens it with Foxit, she can see the signature no problème.

Many users have Acrobat Adobe Pro and they all can see the signature.

For some reason, it's only her.

she sees only = a blank field.

I uninstalled it (AAP). and re-installed it (have license)

from Creative cloud.

*With the same result.!!

I even went as far as to log that user onto a freshly newly installed windows 10 Laptop. Then I went ahead and installed Adobe Acrobat Pro,  and tested it = The same thing! (she can't see the signature)

What on mother's earth could explained this?!! Thanks.

I got the answer today!

Thanks to MikelKlinktry67 and try67 for your help.

User was gathering 'several' pdf documents into one. A common procedure, where several pdf's are rolled into one.

But the user wasn't going about it the right way. Therein lies the issue.

She was coached; and  then when done properly No issues were found.

Again thank you!

Does this only happen for a single PDF? Or only for PDFs signed with the same certificate? Or only for PDFs signed with certificates from a single CA?

Is the signer certificate related to her account somewhat?

Do you use customized Adobe Acrobat settings (probably via registry keys and, therefore, also customized on that freshly newly installed windows 10 Laptop)?

What do you see in the Signatures panel on the left-hand side of the application?
If there's no signature details there, the file is not really signed.

It needs to look something like this:
