Acrobat: Bad Parameter error message when exporting to PNG images

I am suddenly receiving a "bad parameter" error message when exporting from a PDF to PNG images. I do this process all the time, but now it has started giving me the error message every time I attempt to do the export. I have tried:

  • using different PDFs
  • opening the PDF in Chrome & using "Save As" to save to my computer with a different title
  • downloading the most recent Acrobat version
  • connecting with Adobe support by phone or chat, but always get a message that it's not their office hours.

I am extremely frustrated and need to get these projects completed. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Hi @sandekw,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble.

You might want to check this thread which has a solution to a problem similar to yours: Solution to "Bad Parameter" - Adobe Community - 4752884

Let me know if this helps.

No, I didn't find a solution for the files that were giving me so much trouble. The confusing thing is that I continue to produce image files in exactly the same way, using Midjourney & Canva, and Acrobat exports the PNGs with no problem. But there are other files that keep giving me that error message no matter what I do.
