Acrobat continuously locks up while trying to combine multiple files into a pdf. I've filed at least 2-3 posts about this in the past year or two. I took 31 scanned jpegs just now (300 dpi) and went to Acrobat and chose combine multiple files into a pdf. dragged in my images, i hit combine and now i get the spinning rainbow wheel of death again. And the blue bar is stuck at "checking for security settings....". Again I've reported this various times. When is adobe going to fix this??? Yes I'm running the latest version of acrobat. MacOS 13.3.1 (a).

Hi, we just ran into this same issue. Did you happen to find a solution for this?

It doesn't do that with me on my Windows PC. But looking at your screenshot, it does not sound like a very complex operation. Does it do that always with the same files? The same number of files, meaning: does it happen also with 3 or 4 JPEG files?

What is the exact Acrobat version?

does it with ALL SCANNED jpegs. I've complained about this several times, even sent logs but it's never been fixed. Version 2023.001.20177
