Yes, I got the same error.

I then tried to re-save it as a PDF and got the same error.

I then exported it out as a Word document, then re-saved it as a PDF and then had no problems doing the conversion to OCR the document. The big difference is that it was (within Word) a multi-page document (albeit with itty bitty tiny text).

My guess is that Acrobat cannot deal with a document that long that is one page.

Do you often get these very long documents? Have you been able to work with them in the past?

Where did this long long image come from? What application created this?

And for the record, which version of Acrobat are you using (I'm on Acro-DC) and what is your operating system?

      I didn't pay attention before. When the software didn't work, I didn't worry. But this time, I wanted to understand why it wasn't working.

      It is webpage created from Awesome Screenshot Firefox addon.
    • And for the record, which version of Acrobat are you using (I'm on Acro-DC) and what is your operating system?
      Acrobat DC on MacOS.
